improve the "New device/IP used with [Voip number]" emails

Possible improvement to the "New device/IP used with [phone number]" emails: at the moment, they just list an IP address. When my mobile phone is registered for VoIP, it gets several IP addresses daily from my mobile provider, and/or from wifi...

Add DNSCurve support to AA DNS

DNSCurve is fairly simple to implement, so it should not be too hard to add support for this for both customer domains and the DNS servers AA customers query generally. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNSCurve

I see you are switching to a newer router from Zyxel, how about offering one with 2 WAN ports?

I just saw that you are changing the Zyxel router you supply, would it be possible to offer a dual WAN one. I'm sure the Firebrick is an outstanding product, but it is also £900 and much of what it does I need to do on a Linux gateway for work...

ncsc

All The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is looking into a DNS service initially for UK Public Sector organisations. The plan is, based on the effectiveness of the service, to roll this out for UK ISPs / Private Sector. NCSC is working with...

Email "recordings" for SMS messages

With an A&A phone number, you can currently configure call recordings to be delivered by email after each call. I'd like the same facility for incoming and outgoing SMS messages. At present, you can ask it to deliver incoming messages by email...

Offer a Pensioner-Friendly VOIP Service

Is it technically possible to offer a VOIP service where call failure reasons are spoken (and explained) rather than coming back as digits on the handset display in the style of HTTP status codes? At the cost of not being fully...

Emulate Quad 9 through AAISP

With the recent launch of Quad 9 as a more secure DNS service which actively blocks dangerous sites (see http://www.computerweekly.com/news/450430188/Free-Quad9-internet-threat-protection-launched), perhaps it may be possible for your DNS servers...

have a package for 330-50 on my FTTP link.

All other FTTP providers that I have checked are providing the 330-50 option that is available to me on my FTTP link according to Openreach. I am currently on the 160-30 package with A&A. I have asked A&A a few times about when the 330-50 option...

fall over sip delivery

It would be great to have the ability to deliver sip services to more than one server in a fail over configuration. This would allow customers to use multiple resilient connections to the internet for there SIP Servers. Currently the only...

Reinstate per-IP traffic monitoring

Please reinstate per-ip traffic monitoring. This is really useful if you suddenly get a traffic spike to find out what machine is causing the problem.
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 15.10.2010
The per-IP usage was removed when we changed our core routers. This feature is in the list to be implemented, and is a feature that is missed by customers and support staff alike :-)

Telephone Number to Name Directory hosted @ AAISP

which then displayed the caller’s name instead of their telephone number when forwarded on by either SIP or Also Ring numbers.
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 25.09.2012
Our system does allow you to add a Name field per number, which is then used when calling other SIP phones. If this is not what yo're after, then please do email in to us.
We're not keen on a 'directory' though, sorry.

SOAP or XML Interface for Usage Data

It would be useful to have access to an accounts usage data either via SOAP or XML. Doing this would allow 3rd party applications to be created to present this data to the user via a desktop widget or sys-tray application, or, for the more...

Mirror popular Linux repositories

In a similar vein to running a WSUS server, running mirrors of popular Linux distros (e.g. Ubuntu, Fedora) would cut down incoming traffic.
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 29.10.2010
We have a project under way to move our main web server on to new hardware (multi front-end servers using shared storage) in a different datacentre - once this work has been done we'll look in to whether being a mirror is feasible.

Partner/reseller programme

I would love to be able to resell your Mobile Voip Sim service. If this becomes an option please let me know
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
Sorry for delay, we do have a dealer scheme, do contact us. The only issue with things like SIMs, is that there is little room for revenue sharing. Still, do contact us though.
